Starts the preseason in Montmelo
2010.10.15. 20:47
Albert Costa has already started their preparation for the 2011 season. On Tuesday and Wednesday
have been driving at Montmelo in which provide the first test for the 2011 season.
Both days have resulted in good kilometers trying different settings and adapt, even better, to the car.
The weather has been diverse and have driven in rain and dry. The feelings, in both cases, were positive.
In fact, during the morning session (wet practice), he has come to go half a second ahead of the next.
However, Albert is not obsessed with the times and he says just want to know perfectly how this car
behaves in different circumstances.
Next week, Epsilon Euskadi and he will move to Motorland circuit which will host the second test after the ending of the 2010 season.
Finally, Albert has stopped the clock at 1:33.832 which placed him fifth in the global.
Albert: The main objective of these sessions were to conduct several tests and adjustments and not to set a spectacular lap time. This is what pre-season is all about. As part of this preparation, we tried things
that worked and others that didn’t. This way we polish details and get the most of both used and new
tires. Season is over and now we have a quite a big job ahead if we want to be ready to fight for the
Championship next year.
